MY STORY
From finance experience to trusted accounting support
Linda’s accounting journey has been built through years of practical, hands-on finance work. Rather than only understanding accounts in theory, she has spent many years working directly with invoices, payments, payroll, reconciliations, VAT, ledgers and financial records.
Her experience began in accountancy practice, where she supported small and medium-sized businesses with bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll and client queries. This gave her a strong understanding of the challenges that business owners face when trying to keep their accounts accurate and up to date.
Over the years, Linda continued to build her experience across different finance environments, including recruitment, business operations and professional chambers. These roles helped her develop a careful, organised and deadline-focused approach to accounting.
Today, Rassam Accounting Services brings that experience together to support individuals, landlords, sole traders and small businesses with clear, reliable accounting and tax support.
WHERE IT STARTED
Linda developed her accounting foundation through formal AAT training and practical finance roles.
During her early accounting career, she worked with small and medium-sized businesses, helping with bookkeeping, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, customer and supplier ledgers, payroll and financial records.
This gave her direct experience in the type of support many clients need most: keeping records clean, staying on top of deadlines and making sure the numbers are handled properly.

Linda has worked in finance roles across several professional environments, including accountancy practice, recruitment finance and chambers accounting.
Her responsibilities have included processing purchase invoices, preparing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, maintaining cashbook records, handling bank reconciliations, managing payroll, supporting VAT returns and assisting with financial reporting.
This practical background allows Linda to understand both the detail and the bigger picture when supporting clients with their accounts.
